Matt Perron

Lawyer

Matt obtained a D.E.C from College Boreal and a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice from Laurentian University before continuing into Law School.

Prior to law school, Matt worked with the Military Police Squadron at CFB 8 Wing in Trenton. After obtaining his Juris doctor from Université de Moncton, Matt returned to Timmins and articled with Wallbridge, Wallbridge Trial Lawyers. He then joined Gosselin Law Firm in 2013. In late 2022 he assumed control of the practice and created Perron Law Firm.

Matt has extensive experience in Family law and Civil Litigation having represented clients all over the province.

Matt is a member of the Office of the Children’s Lawyer panel and travels extensively  throughout Northeastern  Ontario to represent children and clients for various court attendances. 

 

He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, l’Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario,   l’Association des juristes d’expression française du Nouveau-Brunswick, and the Cochrane Law Association.

Mario Guerrero

Mario earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Judson University, a Christian institution in the
suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, where he was a Dean’s List scholar and graduated with Distinction.


He went on to pursue his Juris Doctor at University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law where he also participated
in the Nelligan O’Brien Payne Moot Competition. After law school, Mario completed the Law Practice
Program at Ryerson University.


After articling with Persaud Law Group PC, Mario was called to the Bar. He began working alongside
other lawyers at Alterna Savings and Credit Union Limited where he received a broad exposure to a
variety of areas of law, such as estates, mortgage remedies, and bankruptcy and insolvency.


Out of the office, Mario leads an active lifestyle, reads fiction and comics, and is learning French to add to
his fluent English and Spanish. Mario enjoys volunteering at the local animal shelter and within his
community.

Kelly Chopp
Law Clerk

Kelly graduated from the Northern College Law Clerk program with Honours in April 2021 and began working in the legal field immediately.


Kelly has experience working in the areas of Family, Wills, Civil Litigation, Landlord Tenant Board, Small Claims, Real Estate, Provincial Offences and Corporate/Commercial.


Kelly takes pride in her job and has a positive attitude. She is very organized, has excellent
communication skills, computing skills, and prioritization skills.


Out of the office, Kelly enjoys spending time with family and friends, walks with her dogs, hiking, camping and travelling.

Angel Nault 
Law Clerk

Angel graduated from the Law Clerk program with Honours in April 2021. She also completed the ILCO Real Estate course in January 2023.

Angel is fluent in french and english, she has experience in Real Estate, Wills & Estates, Family law, and Civil Litigation. She is a committed Law Clerk with excellent communication skills, computing skills and keen ability to prioritize and assist in helping our clients.

Out of the office, she enjoys camping, fishing, hunting and all that nature has to offer. Angel also loves to spend time with her family and friends.
