Matt Perron
Lawyer
Matt obtained a D.E.C from College Boreal and a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice from Laurentian University before continuing into Law School.
Prior to law school, Matt worked with the Military Police Squadron at CFB 8 Wing in Trenton. After obtaining his Juris doctor from Université de Moncton, Matt returned to Timmins and articled with Wallbridge, Wallbridge Trial Lawyers. He then joined Gosselin Law Firm in 2013. In late 2022 he assumed control of the practice and created Perron Law Firm.
Matt has extensive experience in Family law and Civil Litigation having represented clients all over the province.
Matt is a member of the Office of the Children’s Lawyer panel and travels extensively throughout Northeastern Ontario to represent children and clients for various court attendances.
He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, l’Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario, l’Association des juristes d’expression française du Nouveau-Brunswick, and the Cochrane Law Association.
Gemma Dingwall
Lawyer
Gemma is a graduate of Carleton University where she received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in French.
After working for the federal government, Gemma attended McGill University’s Faculty of Law where she obtained a Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor of Civil Law.
During law school Gemma worked with First Nations communities in the legal and public health fields.
Gemma’s areas of practice primarily focuses on Family Law, Child Protection, and Wills and Estates where she delivers effective client-centered services. She also offers assistance with landlord -tenant issues, animal welfare matters and social benefits tribunal.
In her spare time, you can find Gemma volunteering in her community or exploring the hiking and skiing trails of Northern Ontario.
Rawad is a graduate of the University of Hull, obtaining his LLB Law with Business in Hull,
England. Upon returning to Canada, Rawad met the National Committee of Accreditation requirements and joined Perron Law Firm as an Articling Student
in October 2023 before being called to the Bar in October 2024.
Rawad primarily practices in the fields of family and civil law.
While at university, Rawad participated in the ERASMUS student exchange program where he
was accepted into Tilburg University in the Netherlands as part of his schooling. During this exchange, Rawad was able to meet and intermingle with many international students studying law, and further took the opportunity to travel around Europe.
Outside of work, Rawad is an avid reader, enjoying works of fiction and non-fiction alike.
He is also passionate about music, dabbling in writing and recording songs for his own enjoyment, and spends some free time seeking and exploring new music to tune into.

Kelly Chopp
Law Clerk
Kelly graduated from the Northern College Law Clerk program with Honours in April 2021 and began working in the legal field immediately.
Kelly has experience working in the areas of Family, Wills, Civil Litigation, Landlord Tenant Board, Small Claims, Real Estate, Provincial Offences and Corporate/Commercial.
Kelly takes pride in her job and has a positive attitude. She is very organized, has excellent
communication skills, computing skills, and prioritization skills.
Out of the office, Kelly enjoys spending time with family and friends, walks with her dogs, hiking, camping and travelling.
Angel Nault
Law Clerk
Angel graduated from the Law Clerk program with Honours in April 2021. She also completed the ILCO Real Estate course in January 2023.
Angel is fluent in french and english, she has experience in Real Estate, Wills & Estates, Family law, and Civil Litigation. She is a committed Law Clerk with excellent communication skills, computing skills and keen ability to prioritize and assist in helping our clients.
Out of the office, she enjoys camping, fishing, hunting and all that nature has to offer. Angel also loves to spend time with her family and friends.
